Hi, I am a Korean-American wife and mother living in Tokyo. I studied software engineering in the U.S. and after 5 years of programming & consulting I was burnt-out so I took a sabbatical year and taught English in Japan while traveling around Asia. During that year, I met my then boyfriend – now husband – and officially moved to Tokyo in 2008, got married in 2009 and had my son Jan 2011. I founded Tokyo Stroller in March 2011 after realizing there was little information available in English on baby and kid-friendly places in Japan. I hope you find the information useful.
01/2013 Update: Coordinator for the Tokyo Pregnancy Group and due to have baby #2 in June. We`re looking forward to meeting him and sharing more kid-friendly places in Tokyo.
